About Geometry Dash Lite

Geometry Dash Lite is the free version of the game, and for most people it is the one they started with. It has the opening levels of the full game, from Stereo Madness through the first hard ones, with the same cube, ship and ball sections and the same music. What it drops is the level editor and the online levels; what it keeps is the part that made Geometry Dash famous.

This is a browser build, so there is nothing to install, and the levels are identical to the mobile Lite edition.

How to Play Geometry Dash Lite

1. Pick a level from the menu.
2. Press to jump when a spike or gap arrives; the rhythm of the song tells you when.
3. Change form at each portal and learn what the new form does with a press.
4. Finish the level, then chase the three secret coins hidden in each one.

Controls

• Space, Up arrow, click or tap: jump, or hold to fly as the ship.
• Hold on yellow rings for repeated jumps.
• Practice mode: Z places a checkpoint, X removes one.

Tips and Tricks

• Count the beats between jumps in a section you keep dying on; most patterns repeat on the bar.
• The secret coins are always slightly off the main path. Look for a gap you would not normally take.
• Do not chase a perfect run early. Get to 50 percent, then 80, then the end.
• If the ship keeps hitting the ceiling, you are holding too long. Tap.
